2017 IMPACT

Another Year for the Books.

Live Bald 2017 was better than we could ever dream. Thanks to generous friends like you, we raised $40,538. For every dollar raised, St. Baldrick's donates 71% towards funds for research to find a cure. Over 80% of St. Baldrick's funding comes from head-shaving events like Live Bald. The key to finding a cure lies in our hands. Be a hero for the kids - donate today.

I originally volunteered as a shavee for fun – I thought it would be something to share and laugh about with friends; however, over the course of raising money, talking with people about the event, and seeing how much hard work the committee put into it, I realized just how important the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is to those who are affected by children’s cancers. Funding research is critical to finding more effective treatments and easing the suffering of children and their families. Besides, if shaving my head can put a smile on even one kid’s face, why not?

Help Us Help St. Baldrick's

In our first year, 2016, we were beyond thrilled to raise just over $16 thousand dollars.  This was $16,000 dollars going to research, to scientists and clinicians genuinely trying to help find cures for these children and their families.  In 2017, through the gracious donations on site and through our shavees, we were able raise an extraordinary $40 thousand dollars — more than TWICE what we raised in our first year.  We need your help to try to double what we raised again in 2018.  Help us to help St. Baldrick’s in their mission of finding a cure for children’s cancers.

having a little fun for a good cause.

You don’t have to lose your hair to join the fun!

You don’t have to shave your head to help us raise awareness and funds.  For Live Bald, you can enjoy an entire day of live music, great food, dancing, face painting and children’s games.  Bring your family out and tell your neighbors, coworkers, friends, all to come out and join in on the fun.

Be a hero for kids with cancer.
